Because they needed an eCommerce solution that was easy to maintain and upgrade, their website was built on the Magento 2.3 platform.
Magento one of the top open-source e-commerce platforms and is used by thousands of retailers and brands. The power and flexibility of Magento provided all the functionality My Container Now required.
The work PrimeView did on the redesign included:
- Design and implementation of the templates for their eCommerce pages including the product, category, order, member, and checkout pages.
- The custom design and application of the Homepage, Mega Menu, and inner pages designed to be mobile friendly and responsive.
- The custom design of a forms module to be appealing and easy to use for MCN customers.
For quick and efficient product management:
- Existing products of the MCN website were uploaded into the Magento product management function and re-categorized into a category standard.
- Existing customers and their product orders were transferred to Magento.
- A Delivery Date Scheduler extension was added to allow customers to choose the delivery date and time.
Other features added include:
- Affiliates Module that supports 15 affiliate programs to help My Container Now gain more revenue.
- Abandoned Shopping Cart that augments sales revenue by increasing the number of completed orders.
- Custom shipping module to create new shipping methods beyond standard Magento methods.
- Payment Processing extension that allows payments directly on the site without the complex payment gateways, merchant bank accounts, and PCI compliance.
