Director & Choreographer: Robbie Harper
Robbie Harper is very excited to be directing some of the Valley's top young adult talent in How to Succeed in Business without Really Trying. Currently, he is the Artist-in Residence for Phoenix Theatre, which has him teaching Movement for Actors at the Arizona School of the Arts as well as several other projects throughout the season. Previously, he directed A Rockwell Cabaret and co-choreographed Children of Eden and Sophisticated Ladies with Michael Bernard winning AriZonies for both. He is no stranger to the Phoenix Theatre stage having directed Cole and appeared in Rumors, Sophisticated Ladies, Children of Eden, How to Succeed, Applause, and Sleeping Beauty (AriZoni) for Cookie Company. Last year, he was the resident choreographer for Valley Youth Theatre for Oliver, Grease, Little Shop of Horrors, Cinderella and The Wiz, winning 3 AriZoni's. He is happy to finally have a home here at Phoenix Theatre and looks forward to the exciting and challenging opportunities as he helps P.T. reach their artistic and educational goals.
